When you do cross stitch, the beauty of cross stitch is it doesn't really distort the canvas or the fabric. The way that other stitches do. If you're using Canvas, then if you want to use something to keep it very taut, then you can use a frame I don't recommend using a hoop for canvas because the problem is with canvas, it's quite stiff. In 2018, she was awarded Designer of the Year at the first National Needlecraft Awards.
