Lamps with complex volumes 1
A course by Rodrigo Chávez Heres , Industrial and Strategic Designer
About the video: Lamps with complex volumes 1
Overview
“You will learn to give more detail to the geometries that you already know from the rounds and chamfers. In addition, I will show you how to explore more complex shapes from sections and auxiliary planes, thus achieving the representation of organic and irregular shapes. ”
In this video lesson Rodrigo Chávez Heres addresses the topic: Lamps with complex volumes 1, which is part of the Domestika online course: Technical Drawing Techniques for 3D Representation. Develop three-dimensional ideas applying principles of geometry and volumetric drawing.

“Lamps with Complex Volumes Now let's start to draw lamps with more complex volumes. In this lesson, we'll start using more curves. For that, it's important that you warm up your arm. At the beginning, we looked at warming up exercises making straight strokes. Now I'll explain how you can warm up to create curves in a fluid way. The most common exercise is to make an ellipse and fill a sheet with many ellipses that are equidistant. Try to always make the minor axis of your ellipse the same. Next, you can reduce that distance and control the dimension of the ellipse so that it looks as even a...”
