About the video: Lamps with simple curved volumes 1

“Lamps with simple curved volumes Until now we have worked with straight volumes. From now on, we'll work with simple, curved volumes. The simplest volume is a cylinder. While it has no straight side, we can use a cube-shaped enveloping surface to locate a cylinder in space. From this moment on, we will begin to make curves. Just like the warm-up exercises we did for straight lines, we will now start to use the ellipse. An ellipse is a continuous figure which has a major axis and a minor axis. When a circle is depicted in perspective, it is always represented as an ellipse. Ideally, you want...”
