About the final project for: Technical Drawing Techniques for 3D Representation

Technical Drawing Techniques for 3D Representation

“You have reached the end of the course and it is time for you to apply what you learned in an area of your interest, throughout the course you got to know the world of lighting better. You define the project, I recommend you make many sketches of the object or theme you have selected, directly observing the objects or photographs. The objective is to understand its structure in order to modify it and create unique proposals. Before I go, I want to explain what I want to see in your final project. Create as many proposals come out of your head, the limit does not exist, in addition, each new idea is a new possibility to illuminate someone else's world. Remember that the more objects you observe through the drawing, the more information will be available to you when creating an original proposal.

To support the final images, you will also need to share the different sketches that you made in the search for different geometries. Choose those shapes that you like and arrange them on a new sheet, giving priority and hierarchy. More than looking for a perfect drawing, look for a clear and attractive drawing, but above all, that can communicate your idea.
And finally, with the final photos, I would love you to add a supporting text that indicates why you selected these images and how the idea of your lamp came about, if you took it to the realization, also share those photos and the site where we can find it.
Remember not to worry initially about the quality of your drawing, you can always return to those you like and repeat them, each iteration gives you a learning about the object, your drawing or new possibilities. Try not to erase and value any progress, no progress is small. Keep in mind that repetition and practice will give you the quality and detail you want. Do not forget that the quality of your lines, textures, ashura and color will increase the contrast generating a more attractive lamp. I also recommend doing many iterations of your final drawing, you will see that each time you discover something new and you will achieve better results. Thank you for making it this far, very successful. See you soon!”

“Final project Dear students, we've reached the end of the course. Throughout the course we learned the basics for giving shape to our ideas. As you can see, the drawing and the result can be as complex as you want. You simply have to apply what you learned and, above all, keep learning from what you apply. Each type of object has its own characteristics which can be understood by drawing and fragmenting them and in turn they can be distorted to create new forms and functions. For your project, I suggest applying what you've learned on objects that you are passionate about or in projects wit...”
