About the final project for: Social Media Strategy for Events

Social Media Strategy for Events

“My beloved student, Please remember that there are no right or wrong ways to do things in life especially when it comes to social media. Sometimes things even work just by chance! However, it is important to learn the basics and follow a plan to have successful results. It’s equally important to be patient and not to give up easily, things take time to grow. After all, Rome wasn't built in a day. Results only come when you work hard and you are passionate about it. That is the reason why being yourself and loving what youdo are key. You will entice your audience if you show how passionate you are about your project. Now that you learned the basics, it’s time to apply them even, current or prospective. The first thing to do is to define your identity: who are you and what do you offer? Once you have answered these questions, you have to build a social strategy as a strong base to follow. Set your goals and start creating content. Follow a social media calendar, stay up to date with what’s around you, and make sure to create a realistic plan. What content will you post today? What’s your social plan for next month? What time of the day is best for my audience? Launching an event on social media needs the backup of a good social media campaign. Create your teaser, design your posts, set the right tone for your messages (casual, business-oriented), and most importantly, INTERACT and build a networking space for your community. Make sure to get your message across. Use the tools available on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to easily promote your event. Establish a budget, work on a strong message, build up some anticipation behind it and you’re good to go! Remember to trust your process at all times, be human, show some vulnerability and have some empathy towards others - following these simple steps will really help you take a step forward in your communication with your audience. It is important that you detail the process you have followed to carry out your final project - you can learn as much from the intermediate steps as from the final result! Never forget to have fun either and share and share and double share endlessly with your colleagues, friends, random people, research sources… and most importantly SUPPORT people! Supporting others creates a positive support dynamic. I’m so excited to embark on this journey together! ”
