Introduction to UX Writing

“We have reached the end! If we recap what we have seen during the course, the first thing I did was talk to you a little about my professional career and I shared my influences and the people from whom I learn the most. Then I gave you an introduction to what UX Writing is. I explained the role and its responsibilities and the differences with copywriting . And I also told you about how necessary it is to meet the people who use your digital product or service and what it really means to be part of a product design team. I also showed you some basic principles that helped you understand how we read in order to write better, the importance of designing content taking into account that digital systems are like a conversation and we explained a bit what voice and tone are and why They are different concepts, but they need each other.

Later we got down to work (or fingers on the keyboard, whatever you want to see) and I explained some tips very basic so that you can start using Figma for your projects. I showed you how you have to approach writing for user experience. And we delve into different types of screens such as onboardings , screens that do not yet have content, notifications, error messages and buttons.
In the end, I told you how from your role as UX writer you can help make digital products and services available to more people through accessibility, diversity and localization.
The final project I chose was to create several screens in an App for reservations in a taqueria, but you are free to choose your theme. This is one of the screens of my final project. Now it's your turn! Apply all the stages of the process that I have explained to you, develop the screens of your App and share in the forum your final project with your process, the stages of creating your screens and of course, its final appearance!
I will be available in the forum to give you feedback from time to time, so I encourage you to share your work, seek help and also the opinion of other people who take the course. He thinks that receiving a constructive comment on our work helps us to improve, learn and grow as professionals.
