“Support Preparation We know for sure that Leonardo da Vinci was using watercolors. He used them in many different drawings but especially, in his cartography drawings. So he will use probably more blue tones with his watercolors. We're going to use Italian Raw Umber instead, which is an earthy pigment, which comes from iron oxide and we're going to put it on the plate, just like that. I'm going to add Arabic gum to it. This has a little bit of glycerin added to it. It's a preparation from Rublev Natural Pigments. As you can see, the natural pigment doesn't like the binder, so you might want...”
