“ Judging Proportions Now, we'll use the two-value drawing to help judge our proportions through the shapes. I'll take a moment and look at my drawing and compare it to the reference here. I'll use those shapes that I drew in to compare the distances between them and see if there's any adjusting I need to do before moving on and adding a darker value. For example, the space in between the eye and above the nose here and that laugh line wrinkle to me is looking a little bit thin.
