“In this lesson, I will teach you how to use color as a compositional tool and we will choose colors for our final project. So I like to use a lot of very muted earth tones in my work and then use a few bright pops of color to help lead the eye around the piece. So when you look in my thread box, I usually have a variety of browns and greens that are pretty dull. And then I like to have a few very bright colors on hand. When I'm working with a photograph as inspiration, such as the one that I showed you earlier, I try to buy just a huge variety of the types of colors that we see in there. So...”
