Fiber Landscapes

These embroideries are all hand stitched thread paintings inspired by the landscape of the plains in Colorado. When people think of Colorado's beauty they usually think of the Rocky Mountains, but I have found beauty in the often overlooked grasses of the plains. This series is a contemplation of this unseen beauty.
