“Hi, welcome to my Domestika course. I'm Anna Holton. I'm an artist living in Colorado. In 2012, I got a BFA in drawing and art education from Colorado State University. After I graduated, I was really involved with galleries and I was doing a lot of conceptual installation work, very large scale drawings. And then I had a baby. In 2016, after I had my first baby, I was really burned out from the gallery scene and I just wanted to learn an age-old craft, something that my grandmother used to do. and something that could keep my hands busy and my mind still.
