It's important that you pick a light color cupcake pan as opposed to a dark non-stick one because that will conduct heat too fast and overbake your cupcakes. I like this one because it's lightly colored. Cupcake liners. Make sure that they fit the size of your pan. Here, you will fill each cavity with one of the liners.
