“ Finishing Your Hoop In this lesson, I'll show you how I finish my hoops. Initially, I like to take a trim around the edge of the remaining fabric to about 0.25 inches, give or take. This is already close to that, so I'll clean up the edges a bit so that it looks nice. I feel it gives it a bit of a professional feel if you don't have a lot of frayed edges. Some people leave a lot wider area, do a hem around it, and pull it tight, so they don't use any glue. I like for people to see all of the work that went into it by seeing the back part of the hoop.
