Jen Smith is an American fiber artist based in Los Angeles who specializes in embroidery. She grew up in a creative household with a photographer for a father and a maker for a mother. Jen later went on to study marketing at university and worked in the advertising industry for a number of years, before pursuing a career as an artist. She first started experimenting with embroidery in 2017 as a creative outlet, before turning it into a career two years later.

Since then, Jen’s work has been featured in various publications, including on the cover of Love Embroidery Magazine. She also recreated the cover of Morgenstern’s novel The Starless Sea for Doubleday Publishing’s cover reveal. She sells her work online in various forms, from earrings to embroidery patterns, and shares her designs with over 110K followers on Instagram.
