“ Influences In this lesson, I'll share about people who have influenced or inspired my work. First, I can't even start without mentioning my family. I have two grandmothers that were both makers. They were so integral in my childhood in teaching me arts and crafts. They always spent time with me and my brothers and taught us various ways, and had fun together. My parents are also artists in their own way. My father is a photographer and a journalist and my mother was a maker from a young age as well. By the time I could hold a needle, she was teaching me and my brothers how to cross-stitch...”
