“Folding the body, preparing the cardstock for the covers and pressing /2 These pieces of card are just for working with and, in theory, we won't be binding them in this project so I'll protect them with this tape which goes from one side to the next. I'll put it on the outside of the card we're using in the project. I'll do the same with another one for the other side. I'll put half of the tape here, fold it over the edge and stick the other side. You can cut this off or you can leave it on, it doesn't matter. Make sure the whole block is straight, bring it to the edge of the table again or...”

Her work has received awards in Spain and other EU countries. Since 2006, she has been teaching her craft alongside Guadalupe Roldán at the studio she founded: Códex. Their studio has become an international reference in artistic bookbinding and is a space for exchanging ideas and knowledge where many bookbinders and artists from different nationalities have honed their skills and explored their creative potential.
