This type of leather here, which has this shine, is what we call chrome-tanned leather. Chrome... I couldn't tell you how it's done, I've never had the chance to investigate it but, basically chrome-tanned leather has this shine that you can see here, to a lesser or greater extent. If I wet this leather, that was with saliva, the saliva evaporates but leaves no mark on the leather. We'll see other leather with a type of tanning that we call vegetable tan...”
