“Preparing the printed paper /2 Right, now we're going to do a test with a color image. In color, it's more noticeable if there's a distortion caused by moisture than if it's in black and white. First, I'll cut the image out. I'm cutting without a ruler because this is just a test. I'm doing a test sheet which will tell me how some of the adhesives here on the table work. I'm going to cut this image into four, more or less. I'll take some waste paper, some paper I can get dirty, and stick them down. Sometimes, the waste paper, depending on the type of paper it is and what's printed onto it.....”

Her work has received awards in Spain and other EU countries. Since 2006, she has been teaching her craft alongside Guadalupe Roldán at the studio she founded: Códex. Their studio has become an international reference in artistic bookbinding and is a space for exchanging ideas and knowledge where many bookbinders and artists from different nationalities have honed their skills and explored their creative potential.
