“Weighting Lines In this lesson, we’ll start outlining. To do that, I’ll get new gloves and sterilize them. The next thing I’ll do is apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly that will make the skin impermeable so the ink won’t stick to the surface of the skin. Since we’ve waited for the stencil to dry, when we put the jelly on, it won’t erase the stencil. To start outlining my tattoo, I’ll select the needle I’ll use first. This is a 3RL.
