About the final project for: Color Techniques for Tattoos

Tattoo color techniques

“We have reached the end of the course, now you are ready to start your project. I hope the content has been of great help. It has been a pleasure to accompany you and share the knowledge that I have acquired over the years. Before I say goodbye, I want to recap a bit the steps to follow and give you some final advice. The important thing when choosing or drawing a design is to have a good structure that goes with the tensions of the body so that it adapts well to the area where you are going to tattoo.

Increase the contrast of your image so that you can recognize the black base of your project, then when transferring the image to the skin, remember to measure the framing and direction of the tattoo well. When you start tattooing, try to calibrate the voltage of your machine and the output of the needle well, start by outlining until the lines are completely neat, review all the details without leaving incomplete lines, then apply the black base to give strength to your image.
When applying the color, remember to start with the darkest tones, move slowly but steadily until filling everything with color without leaving any unfilled spaces, taking care not to mistreat the skin, do not forget to change cartridges to apply the whites and enjoy see your project completed.
Any questions I will always be pending, if I do not answer at the moment it is because I will surely be carrying out other projects, I am always designing but I will be answering your questions and observing your results. This is a great community if you can contribute something, do it! You can reply to your colleagues to give us feedback together. Thank you for being a part of Domestika. Good luck! ”

The key thing when choosing or drawing a design is that it’s well structured and goes with the tensions in the body so it fits well in the area you’re tattooing. When you apply the transfer, remember that the body should be in a natural position, not sitting or lying down. Increase the co...”
