“Creating Your Design Now I’ll teach you the criteria I use to optimize the image I’m tattooing. In this lesson, we’ll look at how to choose colors. One thing I always try to do is make it more vibrant by adding a bit of volume and perspective. The first thing I do is understand the color. Color always evokes emotions. As you can see, on the right we have a violet and on the left a yellow. When we place a color on top of it, like a light blue or turquoise, we can see that it contrasts differently with each color.
