“Creating Simple Shaders In this lesson, we'll create simple shaders with V-Ray in 3ds Max and go through the parameters. First, let's turn off Override Material and apply clay material to all geometry that does not have any material on it. That will be easier than excluding geometry from the Override Material toggle. For those who are not familiar with shaders in 3D software, let's quickly see the basic parameters for V-Ray shaders. For other render engines, the parameters' names might change, but the principle is the same. We have a Diffuse parameter that controls the color of our shader. ...”
