About the final project for: Realistic Rendering of Spaces with 3ds Max

Realistic Rendering of Spaces with 3ds Max

“Ok, guys, you've now reached the end of my Domestika course. Thanks for joining me. I hope you've enjoyed diving into Arch Viz and learning all the skills necessary for developing an architectural project. You're on your way to becoming a creative master in visualizing the unbuilt! Before I say goodbye, I'd like to run through a quick recap of all that you've learned. During this course, we covered all the steps required to render an image of your architectural project, from start to finish. First, we assessed the brief and the drawings we received from the architect. We learned how to prepare those drawings for modeling, import them to 3ds Max, and position them. After that, we modeled the building and the terrain around it. When it comes to modeling, usually it's not everyone's favorite thing to do. But, the better you do it, the better the final render will be. On completing the modeling, we covered setting up the camera angle. We explored composition, lighting, and creating materials (shaders). With that part done, we directed our attention towards the smaller details, like vegetation. This step will ensure that your image is refined and will bring it to life. To achieve this, we used the MultiScatter plugin and 3ds Max native tools. Then, we prepared the scene for the final render. Once the final render was complete, we imported it to Photoshop and covered the post-production process using the Nik Color Efex Pro plugin. And that's all! Good luck with your final project, guys. I can't wait to see the result! Please share your project in the forum. I'll be there to give you feedback and guidance on your scenes. Should you have any doubts or need additional clarification, do not hesitate to reach out. If you're at the beginning of your professional journey, remember that everything takes practice. Nothing comes overnight and the important thing is to be better than you were the day before. Have patience with the work you do and your development, and before you know it everything will fall into place. Cheers, and good luck!”
