Draw Yourself: Illustrator Gemma Capdevila Reviews Her Drawing Career

Did you know she can write backwards? This Draw Yourself reviews some of the key moments of her creative career.
Gemma Capdevila (@gemma_capdevila ) started to draw just like everyone else: the first time she picked up a pencil. And she hasn’t stopped since. She has published books with names like Planeta, Penguin Random House and Santillana, and worked with clients including Salomon and Switzerland Tourism. 2020 saw the publication of her first solo project.
Domestika wanted to get to know her better, so we suggested this Draw Yourself. Armed with her best tools: pencils, we asked her to draw some of the key moments from her life that helped shape her creative identity.
From the moment she started drawing to her best professional memory and greatest challenge. Plus our favorite question: what will you be like as an old lady?
