5 Creative Community Projects to Celebrate Halloween 2024

Discover 5 creative projects from our very own Domestika community to celebrate Halloween!

Halloween is a cornerstone American tradition, and it is so exciting to see everyone's creativity in the weeks leading up to October 31st; from costumes, to haunted houses, to artwork, and recipes! In this post we want to highlight some of our favorite Domestika community halloween projects to give you some inspiration.

Community Projects:

1. Geonna Snyder - Stone Statue Makeup
This project features an incredible makeup look that is perfect for halloween, costume contests, or haunted houses! Geonna is also a Domestika teacher, and you can find her course linked below.

2. Dario Marcelino - Mac and Cheese Halloween
The project shows the power of linework and digital illustration! This artwork went from a concept sketched on paper to a clean, wonderfully digitalized halloween masterpiece with added color and details.

3. Michel Verdu - This is Halloween!
Using principles he learned from a Domestika course, the artist used photoshop to illustrate the characters in different layers and After FX for the animation. The end result: a cute, fun halloween project for everyone to enjoy!

4. Shauna Lynn Panczyszyn - Happy Halloween, Teal Pumpkin!
Also a Domestika professor, this project features an adorable children's book complete with colorful and creative illustrations! You can also learn how to illustrate a children’s book by following along with her course.

5. Lua Dagostino - Halloween Cookies
Everyone loves a yummy, sweet treat and these decorated halloween cookies are perfect to satisfy that craving! Each one is beautifully decorated with lots of detail and homage to a popular costume or halloween inspired character!
