2 de Maio - Soccer court by João Varela (@joaoistyping)

This soccer field is located in the 2 de Maio neighborhood in Lisbon. The neighborhood gets its name from May 2, 1974, just after the peaceful revolution that overthrew the authoritarian regime, when hundreds of people took over unfinished buildings and occupied them in the years to come.

The "2 de Maio" project demonstrates the power of art to transform public spaces and connect people through creativity and sports.

We recommend their course "Creative Calligraphy: Find Your Style with a Sketchbook" where they will teach you to design experimental letter shapes based on traditional calligraphy.
