“In this lesson we will talk about how to get prepared for the stitching process. We have our fabric. I'm working on a piece of calico. I think it's always helpful that the fabric that we're working with is cleaned. So this has been washed and one of the reasons why I think this is a really good thing to do is because new fabric quite often has a coating over it which helps keep it nice and flat and wrinkle-free when during the transport process. It often too will affect our fabric when we're doing the stitching and sometimes fabrics will shrink after being washed. So I think it's always gre...”
