“In this lesson we're going to be discussing the difference between some of the sashiko patterns that are out there. So there are two main distinctions of sashiko patterns, itomi zashi and moyo zashi. What I have in front of me here is an example of the moyo zashi style of pattern. Moyo means pattern and zashi means stitch, so pattern stitch. And what makes this so distinct is it's generally stitched on a larger grid, quite often about an inch or two and a half centimeters. And some of the big factors that make this distinct from the itomi zashi, which is the other style of stitching we will...”
