“All right, now that we have all the parts of our composition together, we are going to start thinking about the surface. And at this stage, texture is a great way to start activating all that open space. And subsequently you are going to have the option of introducing underglazes, slips later on, possibly glazes or even non fireable surfaces such as acrylic or oil or even milk paint. I have a texture comb here, and I'm going to just play around with a simple gesture. It's like a rainbow intervention here.
