“All right, let's talk about templates. Templates are a great way to cut a form from a slab and reconstitute it three dimensionally to expedite the sculpting process. The way I've created these set of templates is I've built the forms in their most basic shape. I've segmented them in different parts, and then I've opened those parts and flattened them, trace them, and fed them into the computer to clean them up, and then be able to enlarge or reduce that file to create the same shape again and again.
