“All right, in this lesson, we are going to turn our slabs into three dimensional forms. The materials that we're going to need are your ribs, a knife, your slip, a scoring tool, a paddle. I have this circular wooden dowel that is going to help us compress the seams from the inside and the smaller parts. And I also have this wooden tool that has a curve that I often refer to as a finger tool. This tool is going to help us go inside those shapes and articulate that volume while we're responding to them from the outside. And I want to say that oftentimes people have trouble finding this tool. ...”
