Awesome course! He gives a great, simple background on the cultural history and techniques to start doing Sashiko right away. As someone new to needlework and embroidery, the idea of reusing and making mended fabric more interesting was the biggest attraction, and Atsushi provides the all of the necessary techniques to do it right away.
I started some projects with threads I had around, but soon purchased Sashiko threads because I found the pattern making so fun.

PlusI have not finished the course yet, as I want to savour every single little bit, it will take me a while. It is far out! So generous, amazing. I love it. I am so happy to have found it. Now after zillions of youtube videos with many other good teachers I have found one that is for me. Highly recommended. Looking for the next one, I would like to learn a bit more about drawing the different patterns.

I am totally impressed with the explanation. So thoughtful of him, how he combined stitching and learning of Japanese culture. I love stitching but this one is going to be my favorite. Big influence is from amazing definition of course. I can feel his passion for this art. I am so thrilled I bought it.Thank you so much.Emilia Ruman
