About the final project for: Visual identity Design for Businesses

Visual identity design for business

“We have reached the end of the course, I hope you enjoyed it. CONGRATULATIONS!! As a prize I leave you another game: Even if you see the text in black, when you go over the word click and that's it! Helvearialquiz Identify original logos created in Helvetica. Let's see how many you get right! After the gift, I tell you that we have been seeing step by step our methodology to arrive at identities focused on the differentials of the ventures. The final project of the course is the design of a graphic identity centered on a piece. These are the following steps that you must follow to conclude the project and make your presentation: 1) Three steps towards an idea Capture what was discussed with the client, look for key and differential concepts and analyze how you can translate them into graphic languages.

2) From idea to image Design those ideas, give shape to what you imagined. For the Obsoleta bookstore we imagined using the typewriter as an image generator, in this step we used Illustrator to try and come up with visuals of that idea.
3) Identity from a piece Develop and solve the piece that defines your project. Don't focus on the logo but on the elements that make it up. In our project we worked with a bookmark and at this point we saw possibilities of how to solve it.
4) Presentation to client Put the entire journey together into a story to present to the client. Tell a story and try to be visual to connect.
5) Identity elements Add to this presentation the identity elements and other pieces that can be detached from the initial piece. If you carry out all these steps, you will surely present to the Domestika community a project that you will feel very happy about. Explain your process and don't limit yourself to showing images. Thank you for taking this course and I hope it helps you grow professionally. See you on the forum sharing talent. ”

“We have reached the end of the course. I hope you have learned and enjoyed with me. Now it's your turn to try everything I taught you and adapt it to your process in your own way. Before saying goodbye, I want to give you some final recommendations. Work with whoever you want and how you want. Said that way it is a utopia, but my advice is to find the way to achieve it. Be permeable at the time of contact with the client. Absorb, Ask and write down everything that comes out of that meeting. Anecdotes and details can be the kickstart to identity design. Try to think and search in your head b...”
