“ Initial Sketch and Rough Background Now we've traced our character's portrait. We have what we need for that. Time to look at the background. All we need to do here is we want to establish the mood and the atmosphere of the film just with a few simple colours. We'll use a soft airbrush to get some of the details in, and we can come back to that later and add detail. I'll just hide my main reference. Zoom out a little bit and bring up the other reference I had, but I think that should be quite nice to use this. Certainly the car here, so I'll Option and then drag. Copy. Way down here, hide...”
