Although she's trained in architecture and urban design, she began her artistic career in 2015 when she first came into contact with a loom and discovered she had a knack for weaving. Juliana combines techniques from different art forms in her work, such as sewing, embroidery, and crochet, while also incorporating a variety of mediums like video, drawing, and photography.
She has participated in both group and solo exhibitions, including A Tessitura do Gesto, which took place in 2021 at the Arte Plural Gallery in Recife. When she's not creating, Juliana shares her knowledge by teaching textile art courses across Brazil.
