“Using Dyed Chamotte Hi. In this lesson, I’ll show you how to use the chamotte that we previously dyed. We’re going to do it two different ways. First, we’ll sprinkle it over the tile, go over it with the roller, and then blend it into the clay and knead it. This is because, in reality, the chamotte is blended into the clay, when we buy it on the market, it’s already evenly distributed throughout the paste. So that would be the ideal situation.
