“Slip Dyeing Hello, in this lesson I will show you how to dye slip. Slip, I'll tell you a bit, in case you don't know, is used to decorate ceramic pieces. It is almost similar to glaze. We usually use it in pieces in a damp state, in a first firing, and then if we are interested, in a second firing we put a transparent glaze or another on top. But it is often used a lot to make decorations, to make sgraffito, many techniques that need carving, and to complete a first phase of the piece made with color.
