“Digital Touches and Prepping the Final File Now that you finished the final project on paper, I'll show you how I add digital touches and prep the final file. I've scanned my final illustration and uploaded it to my Google Drive, so I can access it from my computer, iPad, phone, whatever. I have it open here on my iPad. I'll select these three dots on the top-right corner, select Open in. It prepares the export. You can do this with a TIFF or a JPEG when exporting a file into Procreate. Then I have an option of where I want to open this file. I'll select Procreate. I now have my illustratio...”

Kayla has illustrated several books, including an interactive board book she wrote, Friends at the Firehouse, and her work has appeared in magazines and on posters. As well as this, Kayla sells her art prints online. Inspired by fellow illustrators, graphic designers and other creatives in her area, Kayla co-founded a working studio The Warren in Nashville, home to workshops, gallery shows, and other community events.
