“General Polish Some highlight here on the buckle and some shadow under that belt. Again, soft shadows here since we're working within the shadows. There's no direct light in this area. All the shadow transitions should be soft. I'll darken this area, because there's no direct light. Maybe this part can catch some sunlight, which is fine. This looks better. Keeping this character painted in a loose way feels a bit more natural to me. And the idea here is to communicate your concept visually in a clear way.
