“Creating Flap Shapes This lesson is about practising, applying texture to illustration, and in order to do that, we set up a simple still life exercise. We've got a range of objects which have interesting textural qualities, which we can use to practice applying the textures that we've made so far. For me, I like to draw shapes on paper that I then bring into Photoshop and then I apply texture. There are so many ways to make digital shapes. You could use a tablet, you could use Procreate, you could use the Lasso tool. Me personally, I like to draw on paper and scan those shapes into Photosh...”
