“Decay & Print Marks Now, we're going to look at textures we can find in the world around us and bring them into our work. There's two that I look for. These are marks of decay and wear and tear and marks of printing. We're going to start by looking at marks of wear and decay. This is a photograph I found at a flea market in India. I was excited when I discovered this picture because so much of it is decay, there's barely any photo left. It's brilliant, you've got these brown water stain marks that have spread out almost like mould and all the white patches where the paper is rubbed away...”
