“Scanning and Adjusting Your Textures It's time to start scanning the textures that we can begin to manipulate in Photoshop. For example, I'm going to use this piece of A4 recycled paper. We can bring out the nice qualities that we want to use in our work. This is my trusty old scanner, it's really old. It's a combo printer/scanner, a very cheap one. I think I've made every children's book using this scanner. It goes to show you don't need one of the expensive large scanners to get results, particularly the way I manipulate things.
