“Painting the Nose & Mouth Let's take a look at the mouth on our reference photo. Similar to the nose and the eyes, you wanna pay attention to the highlights. As you can see on the bottom lip here, there are highlights that are prevalent, but on the top lip there aren't any highlights that you can see. Typically, when the light is coming from above, the top lip is going to lack highlights, and the bottom lip will look more full. Since it is often more round, it'll reflect a lot more. We can get started by filling in the basic color. I always start with the pink and fill in the top lip. A...”
