“Watercolor Techniques In this lesson I'll show you all the watercolor techniques essential for carrying out our illustration. I first started out by taping my watercolor paper to the table. I did that to prevent any warping in the paper while we're putting the water on the paper. This will be helpful in all of your paintings. So the first thing we could do is put all the paint on our palette. You can use any color you like. We'll keep this fairly simple.
