Animated Lettering for Advertising Using Procreate
“I want to thank you for the trust and time you invested learning animated lettering techniques with Procreate with me. This course aims to be the introduction to a world of possibilities and the beginning of what I hope is a new opportunity to continue exploring, growing and useful for you, your projects and your clients. For me it is important to always be curious about what I do and how I carry it out, and although paper and pencil, or a scouting to another past era can allow us to differentiate ourselves from the average today, recognize opportunities or be interested in what is new it can add a lot of value to our creative arsenal. In this course I decided to carry out the project as a promotion to my branding studio to demonstrate the promotional or commercial value that may be behind our work. It was then, that I conceived the idea of making a piece of lettering with my basic slogan, and applying the creative criteria that could best work for me and could convince me the most as I was my own client. Therefore, get your ideas out, be your own client and do a different project from mine. Prepare your project as if you had a real client. Likewise, I leave you some topics so that you also take them into account: • Before starting to sketch it is important to spend some time observing and gathering inspiration and influences that we can gather from our environment and different media outside the internet, in order to help us conceive something that can stand out from the media, discerning what works and also be true to our stamp or style. • Having found the course, you can begin to explore quick sketches to drop ideas on our canvas without going into detail, avoiding closing ourselves to more possibilities that can produce a better result. And little by little, make the decision of the general composition, the emptying of the design and begin to define decisions and details, taking into account that they will impact even when we move on to animate our project. • It is shocking to see how movement gives a new air and life to lettering, how it can affect the perception, tone and personality of our piece as we encourage it, and how we can even reinforce it with audiovisual material.
I share some parts of my project:
