“In this lesson I will show you how I constantly fail! That is until I succeed once I find the right object. In the art process this is simply called: sketches. Are my sketches successful enough to be the final piece? Not really. Sometimes they are really embarrassingly BAD! But, with each new sketch that I do, I understand something a bit better about my project. And that leads me to another sketch which is still not really good but it is better than the previous one. And so on. A less emotionally loaded way to call this failures is just: trial and error. ”

“TRIAL AND ERROR In this lesson I will show you how the process of creation is filled with failures. Another way to call it is simply trial and error. Basically, every sketch that I do, something is wrong with it, I'm not totally happy, but from every sketch I can take something. And I say: "I like how I did the eyes here," "I like how I did the mouth there," and slowly I take a little bit from here and a little bit from there.
