“In this lesson I will present you some of the work I have created over the past 30 years. My work has appeared in many magazines worldwide. I have also created books for children, participated in advertising campaigns and created Apps for the iPad, Like Faces iMake - Right Brain Creativity. Over the past 15 years I have also conducted creative communication workshops with children and adults. In all of these projects I use objects. Objects are the tools that I use to create form and load meaning in a caricature. You will see that some objects serve an immediate task of communication. They are there to draw you in. To make you comfortable by providing familiarity. Other objects might create surprise which will amuse and delight you. But the more interesting ones, in my opinion, are those that you are not totally sure about what they represent. These objects might open a space for your own interpretation and that is what creates audience involvement, engagement and participation. The piece of art is completed in your own head only when you give your own meaning to what you are observing. ”
