Turn your idea into reality by making an effective pitch

In a world where creative ideas and projects abound, standing out is crucial. The key to achieving this is to have a good pitch of your project. A document that allows you to explain clearly and logically what the idea you are developing or are going to develop is about, how you have thought about it and how you will make it a reality.

Many of the entrepreneurs with whom I have worked as a consultant have several - or many - ideas, but they find it difficult to land and download them.
And in most cases, it is much more difficult for them to put them down on paper or in a document and give them structure. This can be a barrier when it comes to growing, getting to the next level, seeking investment or even finding allied projects.

A pitch is nothing more than a short and simple presentation that explains as clearly as possible what your idea is about. Some people call it project presentation, project brochure and when it is more focused on the search for investment the term pitch deck is often used.
The word pitch is also widely used in the advertising world when one or several agencies compete to win a project from a brand and client, but in the end that pitch is nothing more than a presentation with a proposal or idea that a client will buy.
Before starting to put together the pitch I always recommend my clients to start by defining the purpose of their project. There are several exercises for this and in my course I will give you some ideas, but I want to leave you with this resource that can help you define the raison d'être of your idea. Download it here.

Each project is different and has unique particularities, but based on my experience I have developed a basic structure that the pitch of each idea should have. Depending on the industry, the area of development and even who you are going to show this document to, you can add or subtract things to this structure.
Every great journey begins with a map, a route to follow, and in the world of creative projects, that map is the pitch. I want to share with you the 8 basic things that I think your project pitch should have:
-
1. Context/problem
2. Narrative/solution
3. Pillars
4. Target audience
5. Project Ecosystem
6. Business Model
7. Roadmap
8. Who is behind this project?

Pitching is just the beginning. Once you master this skill, you will be on your way to understanding how to make a P&L and shape your business. This is the first step in turning your idea into a tangible reality.
Are you ready to take your project to the next level? I invite you to take my course "Making a pitch for your creative project" where I explain in depth each of the 8 basic points I mention above. Join this course and start today your journey to materialize your project.
