Join me in Morocco to paint flamingos 2024! by Sarah Stokes @sarah_stokes

Another month, Sarah's work has been among the community's most liked. We are pleased about this. In this case, she presents her latest work in watercolor, using a palette of black, ultramarine blue, magenta, and Winsor yellow. The technique includes masked areas, wet-on-dry layering, and delicate spray work for skies and clouds. The flamingos come alive with skillfully mixed colors, standing out in soft and strong contrasts.
If you want to learn his technique, tour his courses. In this case, we recommend Artistic Watercolor Techniques for Illustrating Birds.
Back to you by Giandomenico Veneziani @g_veneziani

Giandomenico immerses us in "Back to you", a cinematic-style, sci-fi photographic project. The visual narrative follows a protagonist who arrives on a deserted, hostile Earth, in search of an ancient energy source sent to our planet. Disoriented and alone, he eventually finds the chest containing this energy, crucial for saving his world and returning home.

In this project, Kristina presents her oil painting based on a photo by Natalie Kinnear on Unsplash. In this project, she uses the grid method, and starting with the darkest tones, she shows her progress from start to finish. He reflects on the need to improve aspects such as contrast.

Chaza, Tienda Ambulante Bogotá Colombia by Paola Alonso @paolaalonsoart

This installation, presented at The Art Sunset 2023 in Bogota by Paola Alonso, reinvents the "chaza" or street store, a livelihood for many Bogotanos. More than 30 Colombian snacks and drinks were served, recreating traditional foods and other typical products. This work highlights the importance of these mobile structures in the lives of many Colombian families.
