This year, I once again challenged myself to participate to Inktober, creating a perfect opportunity to complete my 30-day sketchbook project. I wanted to have a consistent theme throughout the month, and most of my sketches are inspired from nature, landscapes, and the places I visited.

Very inspired by your work.Thank you for sharing. May I ask, 1) do you draw straight with pen and ink or do you start with pencil? Do you start with many pre-sketches before doing a final work, or is the final work your first sketch? I love to sketch myself and finding ways to improve my skills.

It really depends on the subject. For more complex pages I like to do a quick pencil sketch to nail down my composition, plan the shadows and mark any details I don't want to skip when inking. For these drawings, I didn't do pre-sketches because my sketchbook is already my place to try new things and explore new techniques.
Also, keep in mind that this was done during Inktober. I already had a few ideas planned for each pre-determined prompt, making it a bit easier to create a new page every day. This is a bit more polished than my normal sketchbook pages.

My project for the course 'Daily Sketching for Creative Inspiration' involves creating a new sketch every day, drawing inspiration from various themes and daily experiences.
